    Grounding isn’t just about bending your knees — & it’s definitely not one-size-fits-all.

    In this class, you’ll learn how to adjust your grounding in real time so it works with anyone you dance with — no matter their style, frame, or energy.

    We’ll break down grounding as a dynamic skill you can fine-tune moment to moment — with different partners, different songs, & even different moments of the same dance.

    Why “Creating X”? Because grounding is variable — & learning to adjust it is key to unlocking smoother, more connected, & more adaptable dancing.

    This is a concept many of Andrew's students — including champion dancers — still use this 10+ years later.

    🔄 Contact Fusion (aka: Extreme Partner Dancing) - 5:30p - 6:15p

    Dance with the entire room in one song—it's a ton of fun!

    You’ll:

    During this short set, we play snippets of 20-50 songs & everyone changes partners as normal (every 1-2 songs), allowing you to dance with up to 50 people in less than 30 minutes.

    It’s a ton of fun & you’ll discover a lot more amazing dancers to dance again with later.

    Instant Musicality: React to Any Song - 1:20p - 2:30p

    Being musical is key to having non-stop amazing dances — & many dancers show musicality by knowing the song or predicting what’s next. But what if you don’t know the song, or the music isn’t easy to predict?

    Prediction is great, but it’s just one method.

    In this class, you’ll learn how to “instantly react” to music using simple tools like “the 1 drill” & “volume control” — so you can feel & show musicality in any song, right away.

    We’ve got a short break now — feel free to grab a snack & maybe walk with a friend.
